About

Adam James Jones was born in Denver and raised in South Park, Colorado. He received a BA from the University of Northern Colorado and an MA from Western New Mexico University. He is the author of the novels The Vendetta of Felipe Espinosa (2014 Gale-Cengage) and Prisoner’s Cinema (2021 Black Rose Writing). His short fiction and essays have appeared in numerous publications, among them Wild West, Weber, and Backpacker Magazine. He is the screenwriter of the 2019 horror short Hatchlings and the recipient of the 2022 George R.R. Martin Screenwriting Grant for the television pilot, American Witch. Currently he is at work on this third novel. When not writing about himself in the third-person, Adam enjoys metal guitar, hunting with his golden retriever, Odin, teaching, and life in the New Mexico mountains with his family.
